The Azure IaaS VM Support Engineer is responsible for support delivery, providing technical support to Azure customers by resolving technical issues on the Azure VM by leveraging the internal knowledge repositories and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Azure IaaS VM Support Engineer will need to closely collaborate with engineering and operations, and other support engineers.
Responsibilities
As an Azure IaaS VM support engineer you will be responsible for:
Customer Issue Resolution & Responsiveness
Drive communication with the customer to provide top class support.
Collaborate with cross-group peers both proactively and reactively.
Document troubleshooting steps.
Identify current knowledge deficiencies/training needs, as well as potential future needs.
Implement your development plan, actively seek development opportunities, and complete all scheduled training.
Be available for weekend shifts during EMEA hours periodically, if necessary.

Requirements
Microsoft Azure Platform (as a big plus)
Good knowledge of at least one of the two OS families:
Operating Systems (Windows and /or Linux)
Experience with VM configuration and administration
Familiarity with OS Internals concepts (Windows and/ or Linux) and Storage
Demonstrable troubleshooting skills/experience
Virtualization and Cloud:
Understanding of Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration
Understanding of cloud vs. on premise computing
Language
Fluency in English is mandatory. Second language as plus
