Overview

As a Readiness Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of business standards across service locations. Your expertise, both in sales and technical aspects, will be crucial in creating and executing readiness plans that support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive service excellence. You will serve as a reliable resource for service delivery teams, offering guidance and support for the introduction and implementation of new sales roles, products, services, and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Readiness Planning: Develop and implement consistent readiness plans that align with organizational goals and drive the achievement of KPIs, supporting the introduction of new motions, sales roles, products, and services.

  • Sales Training and Coaching: Conduct readiness training, 1:1 coaching sessions, and webinars to enhance field awareness of effective selling techniques, sales processes, and standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining communication and business processes, contributing to overall service excellence across the organization.

  • Standardization of Processes: Map the service sales cycle and execution process, ensuring field service delivery teams are equipped with the necessary resources, tools, and skills for successful service execution.

  • Adoption and Alignment: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure readiness activities are aligned with product/service roadmaps and sales targets. Develop processes to track the adoption of standards and processes delivered through readiness initiatives.

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze and assess team members through call and work shadowing, as well as email monitoring. Design individualized learning and development plans, monitor execution, and adjust plans as needed to foster growth.

  • Global Readiness Collaboration: Collaborate with the Global Readiness Team to execute the global readiness plan, share best practices from field sales teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of solution area syllabi and selling techniques.

  • Data Management: Maintain a training log and register outcomes related to field and solution area training.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: bachelor’s degree required.

  • Passion for Technology: Demonstrated passion for cloud technologies and their potential to drive positive change in the world.

  • Certifications: Microsoft Fundamentals Certification on Modern Workplace (MS900) and on Azure (AZ900) are required.

  • Training Experience: Minimum of 20 delivered trainings with a proven impact record. Minimum light trainer certification required.

  • Sales Expertise: Subject Matter Expertise in modern selling techniques is required.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong sales and technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical sales information and apply it to business solutions. Level 200 – 250 expertise required across solution area workloads.

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, including a minimum of 2 years in an IT sales position involving detailed solution selling.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer expectations effectively.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in customer relationship management, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team. Proficient in negotiating with and influencing customers and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of standard MS Office tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.). Experience using CRM solutions is an advantage.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Project Management: Project management skills are preferred for effectively coordinating and executing readiness initiatives.
